Own the exclusive rights to run a market in your area

Allbites partners with ambitious individuals to launch and grow thriving weekly food markets.

This is not a franchise and it is not a job. It’s a structured partnership model designed to help operators build and run their own market business with the support, systems, tools and expertise of the Allbites team.

Each year we accept a limited number of new operators across selected territories.

If accepted into the program, you will be responsible for launching and operating your market locally.

This includes:

  • Identifying and securing a suitable location

  • Building relationships with traders and stallholders

  • Managing weekly operations

  • Maintaining standards and consistency

  • Growing footfall and community engagement

This is an operational business and requires commitment, ownership and consistency.

Allbites provides the structure, systems and expertise to help you launch and grow successfully.

This includes:

  • Access to the Allbites operator network

  • Ongoing support from experienced market operators

  • Tools, software and operational systems

  • Trader onboarding processes and templates

  • Marketing, branding and launch guidance

  • Legal, planning and compliance support

  • Invitations to operator events and annual retreats

  • We’ve helped our operators create markets that have generated up to £20,000 per week in stallholders pitch fees, but it depends on the location, operating days per week and size of the location.

This opportunity is not:

  • Not a food stall or street food trading role

  • Not a passive income model

  • Not something Allbites runs on your behalf

  • Not a “business in a box”

The operators who perform best are hands-on, commercially minded and community focused.

Allbites is built by former market operators, event specialists, marketers, planners and commercial operators who understand what makes markets succeed long-term.

We have experience across:

  • Site sourcing

  • Market operations

  • Trader onboarding

  • Planning and compliance

  • Marketing and community growth

  • Financial and operational management

Our role is to help operators avoid common mistakes and build sustainable markets with strong long-term foundations.

How the model works

Phase 1 — Area & Location

The first stage is identifying and securing a viable location in your area.

This may include:

  • Public spaces

  • Community venues

  • Private landowners

  • Development sites

We guide operators on:

  • What makes a strong site

  • Who to approach

  • How to structure agreements

  • Site viability and footfall considerations

Phase 2 — Building the Market

Once a location is secured, the focus shifts to building the market itself.

This includes:

  • Trader sourcing and onboarding

  • Pricing structure

  • Branding and positioning

  • Marketing and launch activity

  • Legal agreements

  • Health & safety and compliance

Phase 3 — Launch & Operations

Operators then launch and manage the market on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing traders onsite

  • Maintaining standards

  • Ensuring operational consistency

  • Building customer attendance over time

The goal is to build a reliable and commercially sustainable weekly market.

What we look for

We accept applications from a wide range of backgrounds. Previous market experience is not required.

Essential

  • Aged 18+

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ownership mentality

  • Resourceful and proactive

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • Strong customer service skills

Desirable

  • Previous business ownership or management experience

  • Marketing or sales experience

  • Commercial awareness

  • Experience managing people, events or operations

  • Ability to build relationships locally

Fees

If we accept you onto the program, there is a fee payable of £2000 to join. This covers phase one and enables us to support you identifying and securing a location. Once terms are agreed with the landlord, there is a fee payable of £8000 to cover phase two and three to prepare your market for launch.

When will I make this money back?

This depends on several factors including the market’s location, volume of stallholders, stall-holders fees and landlord rent, but we would anticipate a six-week return on investment.

As an example, a market with forty stall-holders, paying £50 per week would generate £2000 in revenue.
Allbites deduct 5% to process stall-holder pitch fee payments on your behalf. That 5% equates to £100.
Assuming a 20% rental fee to the landlord, that equates to £200. This leaves £1700 and multiplied by six would return your investment, with profit thereafter.

Applications

We review applications on a rolling basis and only move forward with a limited number of operators each year.

Successful applicants will be invited to an intake call to discuss:

  • their area

  • operational suitability

  • commercial viability

  • and next steps
