Space Owner guide
List a space and find an operator
How to get a site in front of approved market operators — what we ask, how we qualify it, and what happens if it goes live.
01 · Creating your account
Sign up as a Space Owner
Use Get started → I'm a Space Owner, or the sign-up card on the List a space page. An account is required before you can submit a site, so your submissions and updates stay in one place.
Listing is free
There is no charge to list a space or to be assessed. Fees only apply if a site is activated as a live market.
02 · Submitting a space
Tell us what you need
Choose your route: you have a space and want it activated from scratch, or you have an existing market and want to appoint a new operator. If it's an existing market, tell us how long it has been running and why you're looking for a new operator.
Give us the site basics
Address, contact name and role, plus photos. Exact addresses are never shown publicly — operators only see the area until an introduction is made.
Answer the practical questions
Electricity and water access, roughly how many 3x3m gazebos the site fits, capacity in persons, which days and times it's available, whether it has hosted a market before, and whether there's a hire fee (yes, no, or TBC). These answers are what let us qualify the site quickly.
Submit and check your email
You'll get a confirmation email with a summary of what you sent. Allbites reviews every submission and comes back to you with an assessment.
03 · Qualification and matching
Phase 1 — Tell us what you need
You submit the site and your objectives; we log it against your account.
Phase 2 — Review and qualify
We assess footfall, access, utilities, capacity and commercial expectations, and set an indicative trader capacity, footfall estimate and rent range for the listing operators see.
Phase 3 — Match and progress
Qualified sites are published to approved operators as an opportunity. When an operator registers interest, Allbites makes the introduction and supports the conversation through to a live market.
Track it in your dashboard
Your dashboard lists every space you've submitted with its current status, so you always know where each site sits.
04 · Fees if a site goes live
The matching fee
When a site is activated with an Allbites operator, the matching fee is equivalent to 12 weeks of rent, split between the space owner and the operator, and paid by card via Stripe. Nothing is payable unless a market actually goes live.
What you get afterwards
The operator runs the market on Allbites, which means your site gets a public market page, trader compliance checks, and reporting on occupancy and footfall you can use internally.
